I intend to buy Halo Combat Evolved for PC, is it possible to install the game on two PCs? - serial number key for halo mac
I do not think that both teams to start the game in a multiplayer game with each other, or even that the two computers running the game simultaneously. But it is possible to play on two computers with CD-key number (default) installed, and still be able to play online with both (at different times, of course)?

It should be. Most computer games you must play the CD in the drive to have, and prevents both play simultaneously.
